Denise Malavé-Hand, BS
Practice Manager
Denise is the practice manager at VIVIFY plastic surgery & medspa. She was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, fluent in both English and Spanish. Her academic background includes a bachelor's degree in Biology with a Pre-Medicine concentration. However, her passion for the beauty and aesthetic industry led her down a different path. Denise’s journey in plastic surgery commenced in 2013 when she started as a Patient Care Coordinator in Fort Myers. Over time, she has honed her skills in patient-centered care, helping individuals achieve their transformation goals, be it surgical or non-surgical, as a Marketing Director, Patient Care Coordinator, and now, Practice Manager.
What draws Denise to this industry is the beautiful collaboration of art and science. Witnessing the transformational journeys of individuals and empowering them to lead a life with renewed mental health and confidence fills her with immense joy. Her interests beyond work are varied and include spending quality time with her loved ones, exploring new areas of knowledge and learning new skills, indulging in the companionship of her furry friends, traveling, volunteering, advocating for mental health awareness, visiting theme parks, animal rescue, and content creation.
Marlie Marino, BA, LME, CCE, CME, LSO
Practice Coordinator
Marlie is a little bit of everything at VIVIFY plastic surgery and medspa. She started her higher education at Florida Atlantic University in South Florida, where she first became enamored with the aesthetics industry. After moving to Tampa to be closer to family, she graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor’s in Communications. She worked in customer service for many years before deciding that aesthetics was where she wanted to be. Marlie returned to school to become a Medical Aesthetician and graduated with her laser and electrology licenses from The Beauty and Health Institute. After many different roles in the medspa space, she has learned that her passion lies with the patients. She aims to help her patients feel their best. Whether that is helping them choose the best treatment to meet their goals, holding their hand during injections, or answering questions about their prescriptions, she wants to be there. Outside of work, Marlie thrives on family time with her husband and their German Shephard, Mya. She spends all her days off with her sister doing some form of circus art, and if it’s sunny, you’ll never catch her inside.

Gia is one of our dedicated lead Patient Care Coordinators. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and was able to fulfill her lifelong aspiration of being part of a nationally ranked collegiate cheerleading team … GO KNIGHTS! Throughout her professional career, she has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented ENT surgeons, Ophthalmologists, Dermatologists, & Plastic surgeons in the industry. After many years of providing technological support to providers and working for two major aesthetic laser companies, she realized that her passion is for helping patients look good & feel good! Speaking from her own experience, Gia has a deep understanding of the life-changing impact that cosmetic procedures can have on your self-confidence and your emotional well-being. She finds true happiness in helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals and will be there to support you during your entire journey … she will without a doubt be your biggest cheerleader, literally! During her free time, Gia enjoys working out, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her beloved fur baby, Cooper. Whether she’s out walking on the Riverwalk, catching a Lightning game, or soaking up the sun at the beach, you can always count on her to be living her best life!

Originally from Boston MA, and relatively new to the Sunshine State-Ashley is a highly experienced Aesthetic Professional with over 14 years in the industry. Finding her passion in the beauty world began from a very early age, and she is a positive, dedicated, and driven individual. Ashley has consistently achieved top performance in aesthetic sales, managed high-volume practices, trained and educated, and cultivated lasting relationships with clients. Ashley loves to go to the beach, meet new people, work out, hang with friends and ski-although there isn’t snow in Florida! Her passion for beauty, self-care, and aesthetic medicine is evident in the commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences and operational excellence.

Emma Hulbert, RN
Registered Nurse
Emma is new to VIVIFY plastic surgery and the beautiful state of Florida. She attended the University of Arkansas where she was a Razorback cheerleader. Passionate about learning, she was named a Bodenhamer fellow and graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing! After graduating, she immediately began working in plastic and reconstructive surgery. There, she loved walking alongside patients from consult through post op visits, witnessing their physical and emotional transformation. With her cheer background, Emma loves working with others and is thrilled to join the VIVIFY team. Outside of work, Emma loves being with her friends and family, doing all things artsy, fitness, beach, and hiking.
Andrea Pinera, RN
Registered Nurse
A Tampa native, Andrea brings nearly 10 years of nursing experience and a passion for aesthetics to the VIVIFY team. She earned her first bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Tampa before pursuing a second degree in Nursing from South University. Andrea began her career in the Burn ICU, where she spent six years delivering skilled, compassionate care. For the past four years, she has focused on plastic surgery and aesthetics, helping patients look and feel their absolute best. When she’s not in scrubs, you’ll find Andrea chasing after her three young boys with her husband by her side. Whether it’s enjoying a sunny Tampa afternoon, a family outing, or cozy time at home, she treasures every moment with her loving family.
Zoe Crabtree
Front Office Coordinator
Zoe moved to Tampa from Nashville, TN and earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from Middle Tennessee State University. She is a licensed cosmetologist with a strong passion for all areas of the beauty industry. When she is not working, you’ll usually find her at the beach or out with friends exploring new restaurants around the city. Zoe is excited to be a part of the VIVIFY team and to grow alongside such a talented group in the heart of Tampa.
Kristin Drake, CST
Surgical Assistant
Kristin graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Surgical Technology from Keiser Career College in St. Petersburg. Every aspect of surgery has always fascinated her since she was in elementary school. For 13+ years, Kristin has assisted in different surgical specialties, but plastic surgery has always been her strength and passion. Then she met the best surgeon she had ever worked with and decided to operate with him full-time! Besides her job, Kristin loves ALL animals, hip-hop music, and anything that sparkles. Her hobbies include biking, walking her doggies, watching sports with her husband, and loving on her beautiful cat, Killa.
Madison Horstmann

Madison is currently a student at the University of South Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with a concentration in biological sciences. She has a background in a hospital setting as a nursing assistant, and a surgery center where he discovered her passion for patient care. Madison is currently on her journey in hopes of becoming a PA. In her free time, she enjoys working out, spending time with loved ones (including her dog), exploring new places, and trying out new activities!
Marissa Rappa

Originally from Connecticut, Marissa moved to Tampa to attend The University of Tampa and quickly made the city her home. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Medical Sciences with a minor in Therapeutic Arts, blending clinical knowledge with creativity. As the lead medical assistant at VIVIFY Medspa, Marissa uses her artistic vision and patient-centered approach to assist in developing personalized treatment plans that help patients feel confident and radiant. Known for her optimistic personality, Marissa brings positivity and warmth to every patient interaction. She also uses her creative insight to enhance the medspa’s social media presence and has developed a growing passion for using digital platforms to connect with and inspire the community. Beyond aesthetics, Marissa is dedicated to humanitarian work, having participated in a medical mission trip to Puerto Rico and served in leadership roles in various health organizations at school. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find Marissa at the beach, volunteering, cooking, painting, or spending time with her Corgi, Milo — who’s just as much a beach lover as she is. Her long-term goal is to become a Physician Assistant specializing in functional medicine and geriatrics, where she hopes to combine her compassion with her passion for healing.

Jessica is a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant at VIVIFY Plastic Surgery & Medspa, currently pursuing her nursing degree at the University of South Florida with the goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner in aesthetic medicine. Fascinated from a young age by the connection between beauty, confidence, and self-care, she was naturally led to a career in aesthetics and finds it deeply rewarding to contribute to each patient’s transformation. She was drawn to VIVIFY for the opportunity to learn, grow, and build her skills. Jessica is constantly working hard to become a well-rounded individual. Born and raised in Florida, she feels most at home by the water, however, she loves to travel and make new friends! Known for her friendly demeanor and bubbly spirit, she radiates warmth and positivity seeking to brighten the experience for every patient and team member she encounters.
