Important Update Regarding GLP-1 Compounded Medications

Due to recent changes in GLP-1 compounded laws, effective April 15, we can no longer order compounded semaglutide. Here’s what that means:

  • For Prepaid Patients: If you have already prepaid for your semaglutide therapy, please contact us immediately to reorder before April 15.
  • For New Patients: We regret that we will not accept new patients into our weight loss program until further notice.

What Is Semaglutide?

At VIVIFY Plastic Surgery & Medspa, we help our patients achieve their weight loss goals using semaglutide in Tampa, a medication that mimics the natural hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) 's effects.

By activating GLP-1 receptors, semaglutide increases insulin secretion, decreases glucagon levels, and slows stomach emptying. These effects work together to lower blood sugar and reduce appetite, aiding in weight loss.

Please note that our ordering capabilities have changed due to the updated GLP-1 compounded laws, and we are prioritizing current patients.

How Do Weight Loss Shots Work?

Our weight loss shots combine semaglutide therapy with personalized lifestyle guidance to help you achieve sustainable results. The treatment works by:

  • Setting realistic weight loss goals
  • Developing a healthy eating plan
  • Incorporating physical activity into your daily routine
  • Identifying and changing unhealthy behaviors
  • Tracking your progress and making adjustments as needed

Collaborating with our compassionate healthcare professionals gives you a tailored plan to enhance your overall health, well-being, and weight loss in Tampa.

What are the Benefits of Weight Loss Shots?

Physical Health

  • Reduced Risk of Chronic Diseases: Losing even 5-10% of your body weight can lower your risk of conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
  • Improved Mobility: Weight loss can alleviate joint pain and improve overall movement, making it easier to stay active.

Mental Health

  • Boosted Self-Esteem: Achieving your weight loss goals can improve your confidence and overall mood.
  • Emotional Well-Being: By addressing emotional eating and developing healthier coping strategies, many patients experience reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Current Patient Eligibility

While we are not accepting new patients for Ozempic in Tampa at this time, existing patients who meet the following criteria are encouraged to continue with their treatment:

  • A body mass index (BMI) of 25 or higher
  • Previous unsuccessful attempts at weight loss through diet and exercise alone
  • A commitment to making sustainable lifestyle changes
  • Those seeking to reach their goal weight before any planned procedures with us

If you have prepaid your semaglutide therapy, please reach out to us as soon as possible to ensure your treatment continues uninterrupted.
